Working with such people as Bishop T.D. Jakes, President George Bush (41), Joyce Meyer, and organizations like Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, KLTY Radio, Gateway Church, Texas Motor Speedway and the Dallas Cowboys Mike Walker has transformed each event into a moving experience.
He began his career with concerts and touring events before becoming a producer. His credits include such events as Celebrate Freedom – an annual summer concert that features some of the top names in Christian music and draws crowds over 250,000 to the outdoor event.
His success as a producer caused him to be engaged by Fellowship Church in Grapevine, Texas where he produced weekly services hosting over 21,000 people each weekend. In addition, Mike led the teams that created environmental worship experiences at Christmas and Easter with 18+ services in a week that touched 41,000 people in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
As Fellowship Church outgrew their Grapevine campus, Mike developed the technical teams that became the backbone of the church’s transition to a multi-site ministry, spanning five campuses and producing 13 services weekly.
His role as Media Director at Fellowship Church grew to include being the Director of Ed Young Ministries, a world-wide television program viewed on 14 networks including the USA network and 4 international networks. Leading the Ed Young Ministries team through a tremendous growth rate in one year, Mike focused on strategic planning and strengthening the donor development program.
Mike has been interviewed by Church Production Magazine and Technologies for Worship and has been a featured speaker for the National Religious Broadcasters Convention for his insight into creative programming and production technologies for large-scale worship; however mike will tell you that “tech is just a tool” and that his real passion is in developing teams, creating experiences and turning dreams into reality.
